Purpose:
This section explains how to create Extras, such as special dishes or cakes, that can be attached to a plan.

Warning
Note:
This feature is supported only for TL Lincoln, TEMAIRAZU, NEPPAN, and RAKUTSU.
It is not displayed on the admin screen for properties using other site controllers.

2. Creating Extra (Required)

Step 1
To create new Extra, click on [+ Add extras] .

Step 2
Turn ON the Enable Toggle,  the Extra will becomes available for sale. 

2.1 General Setting

1. Extra typeDefault setting. 
2. Sales Types
Select [Optional Extra].

・Optional Extra: Added during the reservation process when entering guest information.
・Inclusive Extra: Included in the plan from the beginning and sold as part of the plan.

3. Extra name & Description (required)
Enter the "Extra name" and "Description".

4. Notes
Add any necessary warnings or notes.
5.  Additional question
Enable this section to create additional questions related to the Extra.
6. Unit (required)
Set the unit of the Extra.
For example, persons, hours, or piece. 

7. Image
Please upload one image that clearly shows what the Extra is about.
*Due to the current specifications, only one image can be registered for an Extra.
8.  Inventory Management
・ Inventory management is available only for "Generic".
・ If the Extra has no stock limitations, select [Unlimited].
・ If the Extra has daily stock limits, select [Inventory by day]and manage it from the "Extras Inventory".

Idea
When [Users specify the number of kids by the following tiers and select meal as extras] is selected in the "Kids settings", Kids’ meals can be sold as Extras.

2.2 Charge Type

2.2.1 Discount specified percent from the adult charge

  1. This can be used when [Users specify the number of kids by the following tiers and select meal as extras] is selected in the "Kids settings", and meal or bedding settings for infants are configured under the “Extra type”.
  2. When this charge type is selected, the Extra price can be set as a percentage (%) of the adult accommodation rate.
  3. For details, please refer to “4. Kids Meal & Bedding Settings” session.

2.2.2 Fixed charge

  1. [Current price with tax per unit]: used when the charge is set as a fixed amount.
  2. ▼Examples:
    ・ Pickup service → 1,000 yen per person (tax included)


  1. [Future price with tax per unit]: used when tax rates change in the future (e.g., consumption tax increase).
    ▼Example:
    ・ Until Dec 31, 2025 → 2,200 yen
    ・ From Jan 1, 2026 → 2,750 yen

3. Optional Extra Additional Setting

3.1 Set time options

  1. By checking "Set time options" and entering the time, you can specify the time for that Extra.
  2. This is used for Extra that have time slots.

3.2 Include check out date

  1. It is possible to choose whether anExtra can be used on the checkout date.
  2. If an Extra (for example, an anniversary cake) is set to be available on the checkout date, the system will allow the cake to be arranged even after checkout.
    *If the Extra must not be available after checkout, the checkbox must be unchecked so that the Extra is not offered on the checkout date.

3.3 Cancellation Policy

  1. The cancellation policy for an Extra can be set in the same way as the cancellation policy for a plan.
  2. It is possible to apply the same policy as the plan or create a separate cancellation policy specifically for the Extra.

3.4 Reserve Limit

  1. The minimum and maximum number of Extras that can be selected per plan can be configured.

3.5 Offer period

The start and end dates for sales can be set in this section.

3.6 Booking deadline

Set the cut-off date and time for when the Extra can be booked.

3.7 Target Condition

3.7.1 Target users

  1. Choose [All Users] to display the Extra to all guest.
  2. Choose [Select membership program] to display the  Extra only to specific membership or organization membership program.

3.7.2 Target plans

  1. Select the accommodation plans for which the Extra will be available.
  2. The Extra will only be displayed on the "Guest details" if a plan with a checkmark is selected.


4. Kids Meal & Bedding Settings

This feature applies when [Users specify the number of kids by the following tiers and select meal as extras] is selected in "Kids Settings".

Step 1
Meal or bedding Extras for infants are available in the dropdown menu under “Extra type” on the Extra Management screen.

Step 2
・In the Extra “Charge Type”, select "Discount specified percent from the adult charge".  
・Set infant meals or bedding as a percentage of the adult rate and click [Save].
▼Example:
・ Discount specified percent from the adult charge: 50%
・ Adult accommodation rate: 12,000 yen/person
・ The Extra price: 6,000 yen/person


5. Delete Extra

Step 1To delete the Extra, click [Delete] button on the below of the screen.
Step 2After clicking [Delete] button, a pop-up screen like below will be displayed.

Click the 
[Delete] button again to confirm the deletion. 
  1. WarningExtras cannot be deleted if there is reservation history.
  2. To make an Extra unavailable, turn OFF [Publish on tripla Book] at the top of the screen.
  3. If an Extra is deleted, the deleted Extra information will no longer be displayed in the reservation details on the admin screen for existing reservations. Do not delete the Extra until all stays with that Extra are completed. Instead, turn OFF [Publish on tripla Book].
  4. When Turning Off an Extra that currently associated with a certain plan, a popup screen like below will be displayed.

6. Notes

  1. Once a reservation is completed, Extras cannot be added, removed, or changed individually.
  2. However, when the “Reservation Change Policy” is enabled, Extras can be added, removed, or changed during a reservation change together with changes to the room plan or stay dates.
  3. Changing the display order of Extras is not possible.
