Extra Inventory Management
Purpose
This section is to explain how to manage daily inventory of Extra, that has been set on the Extra section.
⏱ Estimated time: ~5 mins
- When an extra is reserved via Tripla Book, inventory is automatically updated.
- If inventory is 9 or fewer, the remaining quantity is displayed.
- If inventory becomes unavailable during the reservation process, an error message is displayed.
- This function applies only to [Generic] extras.
- Daily inventory management is supported; inventory cannot be managed by time slot.
1. Where to Set
- Setting page: Property Management Screen
- Action: "Extra Inventory"
Only Extra that has been set as [Inventory by day] in "Inventory Management" at the bottom of the 'Extra Management' screen will be displayed.
There are 2 ways to manage Extra Inventory in the management screen.
- Double-click the specific date to edit the inventory.
- Then click [Save] to complete the process.
3.2 Bulk update Inventory
Bulk updates are also possible.
| Step 1 | ・Select [Bulk Update] on the top right of the screen.
 ・Bulk update manage screen will be displayed as below.

| Step 2 | ・Select the period, inventory, and day of the week, then click [Update] to update inventory all at once.

4. Changing to Inventory by day After an Unlimited Extra Booking
If a customer reserves an Extra with "Inventory Management" is set to [Unlimited], and the property later changes the setting to [Inventory by day], the inventory quantity upon cancellation will be handled as follows:
Even if the reservation is cancelled from either the management screen or the customer screen, the Extra inventory will not be restored, and "Available" number in the 'Extra Inventory' management screen will remain at 0.
If a reservation is cancelled from either the management screen or the customer screen,
the number of cancelled items is added back to "Available" inventory.
When adjusting the number of available units for sale, enter only the current available stock.
If a plan includes multiple extras and one of those extras becomes out of stock, the entire plan will also be treated as out of stock.
As a result, the plan will automatically be hidden from triplaBook search results.
Example:
Plan: Early Bird 30 Plan (includes parking and drink bar)
・Parking availability = 0
・Drink bar availability = 10
Since the parking option is out of stock, the Early Bird 30 Plan will be considered out of stock and will not appear in triplaBook search results.
