Purpose:
This section explains how to configure information to be displayed in advance on the search results page,
the guest information input screen, the reservation completion screen, and reservation-related emails.

1. Where to Set

The Notification feature can be set on both Brand Management Screen and Property Management Screen.

Places for the display
Displayed only at the top of the Accommodation Plan Search screen.
① Search Results
*Displayed above the plans on the Accommodation Plan Search screen as “Notification from the facility”.

④ Reservation-Related Emails

2. Brand Management Screen

2.1 Active & Title (Required)

1. ActiveEnable the Applicable Notification.
2. TitleTitle is for management only and will not be shown on the Booking Widget.
3. Type
No action is required on this section.
*It is fixed to "Notifications" input.
4. Notification Content・It is possible to format text and add link in the content.

IdeaDisplay an image in the Notification
Step 1 
・Upload the image to Media on the property management screen.
Right-click the image, and copy the image address.

Step 2

Paste the copied image address into the URL section of the image tag and save it

2.2 Condition setting

2.2.1 Notification display period (Optional)

  1. Set the check-in period for displaying the notification.
  2. If not set, the notification will be displayed at all times.

2.2.2 Target users (Required)

  1. Select Tripla Book to display notification on the Booking Widget.
  2. Select Tripla OTA to display the notification on Tripla ai (OTA).
  3. If both checked, it will be displayed in both locations.
  4. Choose [All Users] to display the question to all customers.
  5. To display the question only to a specific membership group, select the applicable membership program.

2.2.3 Places for the display (Required)

1. Search Results
The notification will be displayed on the top of the Booking Widget.
2. Guest detail
The notification will be displayed on the right side of Customer Information input screen.
3. Confirmation screen
The notification will be displayed on Reservation Confirmation Page.
4. Reservation email
The notification will be displayed on the Reservation related email.

2.3 Target properties (Required)

  1. Select [All Properties] to display the notifications for all properties.
  2. To display the notifications only for a specific propertie, select the applicable propertie.

3. Property Management Screen

3.1 Status & Title (Required)

1. ActiveEnable the Applicable Notification.
2. Type
No action is required on this section.
*It is fixed to "Notifications" input.
3. TitleTitle is for management only and will not be shown on the Booking Widget.
4. NotificationsUnlike the brand admin screen, notices set on the property admin screen are limited to 100 characters.

3.2 Places for the display  (Required)

3.3 Conditions

3.3.1 Notification display period (Optional)

  1. Set the check-in period for displaying the notification.
  2. If not set, the notification will be displayed at all times.

3.3.2 Target users (Required) 

  1. Select Tripla Book to display notification on the Booking Widget.
  2. Select Tripla OTA to display the notification on Tripla ai (OTA).
  3. If both checked, it will be displayed in both locations.

3.3.3 Target Plan (Required)

  1. Select [Select all] to display the question for all plans.
  2. To display the question only to a specific plan, select the applicable plan.

4. Notification Content Translation

  1. The notification content can be set in five languages (Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean).
  2. Click [Translate to all languages] button to automatically translated the notification content from the main language into all supported languages

  3. When all supported languages has been translated, the notification will be displayed in the language that matches the customer’s browser settings.

5. How to Change the Notification Design

The notification can be collapsed and expanded by inserting the following format into the notification editor.

  1. Please edit the content within (Notification Title/ Notification Content).
    Line breaks can be added by inserting 
    <br>.
  2. The recommended display locations are “Search Results", Guest detail,” and Confirmation screen”.
    Setting the display location to “Reservation email” is not recommended, as the content cannot be opened when tapped in the email body.
