Member Information Management (Guest Screen)

Info
Purpose:
This section is to explain how user can view and Edit their membership information in My Account Page.

1. How to Sign in to My Membership Account

Step 1
Guests can log in by clicking [Sign in] and choose [Membership sign in] button at the top of the booking widget. 
Step 2Input registered email address and password, then click [Sign in] again. 
Step 3・After signing in, the guests can access their My Account page by clicking on their [member account name] and choose [Account].


2. Account 

1. Membership ID
The guest Membership ID will be displayed. 
2. Membership RankMembership rank held by the guest will be displayed.
3. Membership PointThe number of available points that can be use by the guest will be displayed.
4. My QR codeQR code in the upper left of the screen will be available if member program has been set up.
5. Login InformationRegistered login email will be displayed in the "Login Email" and "Password" field.
6. Personal InformationGuest details such as first name, last name, company name, gender, nationality, date of birth, and occupation are displayed in this section.
7. Promotion email settingIf the guest agreed to receive promotional emails from the hotel upon creating a membership account, the Toggle will be appear ON
*This can be turn OFF by clicking the toggle.
8. Remove AccountThe guest can remove their membership account permanently by clicking [Remove Account] button. 
*This action cannot be reversed.

  1. For properties using custom authenticationlogin information is not displayed.
  2. Click [Edit] to open the edit screen. Although these items are not required during member registration, gender, nationality, date of birth, and occupation can be edited on the "My Account page".


3. Change Email Address

Step 1
・Click the [Edit] button in the “Login Information” section.

Step 2・After clicking[Edit]“Login Information” section will change to "Change login email" section.
・Input new email address on "Email" field and password. 
・Once done, click [Save] button. 

Step 3・After a new email address is saved, an email verification will be sent to the newly registered email address as below.

Step 4・Once URL link in the email is clicked, the guest will be directed to the "My Account page", and email address on the "Login Email" will now changed.


4. Reset Password

Step 1
・Click [Reset Password] in the  “Login Information” section.

Step 2Reset Password Screen will be displayed.
・Enter registered email address on "Email" field and click [Send].

Step 3・A reset password request notification will be displayed as shown below.
・If the reset password email is not received, click the [Resend] button to send the request again.

Step 4・Reset Password request email will be sent to the registered email as follow.
・Click [Reset Password] to change password.

Step 5
・After [Reset Password] is clicked, the guest will be directed to Change Password screen as follow.
Set new password on the first field and confirm new password
・Click [Set Password].

Step 6
・After new password has been set, you will be signed out automatically from your account and Password change notification will be displayed as follow.
・Click [Sign In] to log in into My Account page, using registered email address and new password.


5. Remove Account

Step 1
Click [Remove Account] on the bottom of "My Account Page" to cancel membership.

Step 2・A pop-up notification will be displayed as below.
Select a reason for cancelling the membership.
・Click 
[Delete] to confirm.

Step 3Guest will be notified by email, once they had Remove their membership Account.
*Once the membership account is removed, 
guest will no longer be able to view previous reservations and any points have earned will be invalidated.

Warning
For properties using custom authentication, the [Remove Account] will not be displayed.

6. Reservations

  1. Upcoming, Completed and Cancelled reservation along with Reserved Channel can be viewed on "Reservations" in "My Account Page"

・Display upcoming reservation list

2. Completed・Display list of past dated reservation.

3. Cancelled・Display list of cancelled reservation.

Info
If there is no Upcoming reservation, the "Reservations" screen will shown as below.
If the [Start Planning Your Trip] button is clicked, the screen will be directed to reservation search results page.

7. Point

To check "Available Point" and "Future Point" scheduled to be earn, click [Points] on the My Account page as below.

7.1 Available Point

StatusDetails
Gained Points
The number of points added when points become available.

Refund Points
Points refunded when a reservation using points is cancelled.

Spent Points
Negative value shown when points are used for a reservation.

Expired Points
Negative value shown when points expire.

7.2 Future Point

  1. Points that will be granted in the future when a reservation is completed.
  2. If a reservation is modified in the admin screen before the points are actually granted to the user, the points will be updated automatically.
  3. If the points have already been granted to the user, a notice message will be displayed when the reservation modification is completed.
  4. Even if the check-out date is changed in the admin screen, the point availability start date and expiration date will not change.

Warning
When the points to be earned become validthe record will be removed from Points to Be Earned and moved to Available Points.

8. Payment Method Registration

  1. When a member enters credit card information during payment and selects [Register this card] the credit card details are registered as a payment method.
  1. The registered credit card information can be viewed or deleted on the guest screen as shown below.
  2. Action: "Member account name" → "Payment Method"
1. View registered card
On the "Payment Method" page, the registered credit card will be displayed as below.
2.Delete registered card
・To delete registered card information, click [Edit] button.
[Remove] button will be displayed.
・Confirm the details, then click[Remove] to delete the credit card information from My Account.

Warning
  1. New credit cards cannot be registered on this page.
  2. Cards can be registered by selecting [Register card] during a prepaid reservation and completing the payment.
