Custom Email Domain

Purpose:
This section is to explain how to set up a custom emailwhere the property can send email from their email domain.

Warning
Only one email address will be set for entire brand. 

1. Where to Set

  1. Setting Page: Brand Management screen
  2. Action: 'Admin setting' → [General Setting] 

2. How to Set

Step 1
Click [Settings] button in the "General Settings" under the "Custom Email Domain" box.

Step 2
・After Clicking the [Settings] button, the following screen will appear.
・Enter the property email's domain and click [Generate SPF Code].

Step 3
DNS settings must be configured using the generated SPF record.
■Note:
Due to changes in Gmail guidelines effective February 1, 2024, while email delivery should work correctly if an SPF record is already configured, adding a DMARC record is recommended as a precaution.

  2. Type: TXT  
  3. Subdomain: _dmarc  
  4. Value: v=DMARC1; p=none;
*For details on how to configure these settings, please contact the person responsible for managing the email server.
Step 4
After creating the SPF record and completing the DNS configuration, click [Send test email].

・Please click link on the email address within 48 hours.
*The email is sent with the following settings:
From: The email address of the configured domain  
To: The email address of the configured domain
Step 5After clicking link in the email, the "General Settings" will open with
"Custom Email Domain" turned ON.

Step 6Once all settings are completed, emails will be sent using the domain email address.

3. Reverting or Changing Email Address

  1. The setting can be reverted to tripla default email address (mail@tripla.jp) by turning off the setting.
  2. To change the email address, please turn the setting off and then set it again.
