Area Settings

Purpose: 
This section explains the area search settings for the search bar placed on the brand top page of a chain hotel.

dedicated brand account is required to place this on the brand page.
Please contact tripla before configuring the settings.

1. Where to Set

  1.  Setting page: Brand Management Screen
  2. Action'Setting' → 'Booking Engine' → [Area Setting]

2. Create an Area (Required)

Step 1
Click [Add Area] to create area.
Step 2Add area screen will be display, Set the Area name and click [Save]


3. Reordering Area Display Order

Step 1
To change the display order of areas, click [Change order] on the top right of the screen.

Step 2Drag the icon  on the left side of the display order, or select Move to Top on the right side to rearrange the order.
Step 3After adjusting the order, be sure to click the [Save] button to apply the changes.


4. Linking Areas to Properties (Required)

  1. Setting pageProperty Management screen
  2. Action'Admin Setting' → 'tripla setup'
Step 1Turn on, the Brand Setting.

*Individual properties' accounts should keep “Brand Settings” OFF.
Step 2 
Action: 'Setting' → 'Widget Settings' → 'Booking Widget'
Turn on the "Area search switch".
*The setting will not be displayed unless “Brand Setting” is set to ON.
Step 3
Action: 'Admin Settings' → 'Property Information'
Select the area from the “Area” dropdown menu.

Notes:
  1. Properties without an area setting are grouped under “All Areas”.
  2. When using area settings, set an area for all properties.

5. Reordering Properties Within an Area

Step 1Select which area where the properties are to be reordered.

Step 2A list of properties categorized under the selected area will be displayed.
・Click
 [Change order] button located at the top right of the screen.

Step 3・Drag the icon  on the left side of the display order, or select Move to Top on the right side to rearrange the order.
・After reordering, click the 
[Save] button to apply the changes.

6. Display Target Property Settings (Required)

    1. Setting pageBrand Management screen
    2. Action:'Setting' → 'Booking Engine' → 'Property Display Settings'
    3. Check the boxes for the properties you want to display in the area list, then click [Save].

    7. Booking Widget Display

    By using area settings, properties under the same organization account can be searched across multiple properties.
    This allows availability to be checked for multiple properties in a single list.

    Brand Search and Stay Length Settings
    If availability is shown as available (✓) on the calendar in a cross-property search, but no availability is displayed when selecting the date, the minimum stay setting in the plan details may be set to consecutive nights (2 nights or more).
    In this case, a search must be made for the minimum number of nights or moreotherwise no availability will be displayed.
