Purpose:
This section explains how to set additional questions for customers to collect required information,
such as check-in time and other pre-arrival details, during the reservation process.

1. Setting Common Questions for All Properties

Required Setting:
  1. 1.2 Additional Question (Required)
  2. 1.3 Condition Setting (Required)
    *All of the above settings must be completed.

1.1 Where to Set

  1. Setting pageBrand Management Screen
  2. Action'Additional questions' → [Set up a question] 
WarningOnly "free questions" can be configured there.

1.2 Additional Question (Required)

1. ActiveEnable the Applicable Question.
2. Title・Enter the title of the additional question.
・This will not be displayed on customer screen.
*It is not possible to create multiple additional questions with the same title.
3. Question type
Only "Free-text" questions can be configured.

4. Question・Enter the question text. 
*Question text will be displayed on customer screen.
5. Answer typeNo action is required on this section.
*It is fixed to free-text input.

1.3 Condition Setting (Required)

1.3.1 Target Users

  1. Select [All Users] to display the question to all customers.
  2. To display the question only to a specific membership group, select the applicable membership program.

1.3.2 Places for the display

  1. Select where the additional question will be displayed.
  2. Set the question as Optional or Required.
1. Guest Detail: Required ・Additional question will be displayed at the time of reservation.
・Reservation cannot be completed unless this information is entered.


2. Guest Detail: Optional・Additional question will be displayed at the time of reservation.
・Reservation can be completed without entering this information.


3. Confirmation Screen: Optional・Additional question will be displayed after the reservation is confirmed.
・The reservation 
can be completed without providing this information.

When the customer enters the information and clicks [Submit],
The customer will also receive "Update email" with Additional question detail.


2. Setting Questions by Property or Plan

2.1 Where to Set

  1. Setting pageProperty Management Screen 
  2. Action 'Additional questions' → [Set up a question] 

2.2 Additional Question (Required)

1. StatusEnable the Applicable Question.
2. Title・Enter the title of the additional question.
・This
 will not be displayed on customer screen.
*It is not possible to create multiple additional questions with the same title.

2.3 Question type & Answer Type (Required)

1. Number of people per room・The number of males and females can be entered separately.
・The answer type will be set as Number fields (this cannot be change) on BW.


2. Check-in or Check-out timeThe answer type will be displayed as a time slot field on BW.


3. Free Question: Free-textThe answer type will be displayed as a free-text field on BW.


4. Free Question: Answer listThe answer type will be displayed as a selectable answer list on BW.


2.4 Places for the display (Required)

  1. Select where the additional question will be displayed.
  2. Set the question as Optional or Required.
  3. For details, please refer to this session.

2.5 Conditions (Required)

2.5.1 Target users 

  1. Select [All Users] to display the question to all customers.
  2. To display the question only to a specific membership group, select the applicable membership program.

  1. Select [Select all] to display the question for all plans.
  2. To display the question only to a specific plan, select the applicable plan.
